Yesterday I was scrolling through Facebook (like we all do 🙄) when something stopped me. "12 High-Protein Family Freezer Meals." Well… they had me. I clicked on it, watched the class, started looking up freezer bags, stands, containers… the whole nine yards. Before it was over I had freezer bags and stands in my Amazon cart and was feeling completely accomplished. 😂 It got me thinking... How many times do we see something and think, "Yep. That's exactly what I need." Maybe it's a healthy recipe, a new challenge, meal prep idea, or workout...whatever! We're excited in the moment. We save it, fully intending to come back to it. Then life gets busy. Before you know it, it's buried somewhere in your saved posts (if you're anything like me, your saved folder is full of really good intentions.) Here's why I'm following through on this one though. Lately, Bart and I have gotten away from planning our meals, and when that happens, quick and easy usually wins. Sometimes that's eating out. Sometimes it's throwing together whatever happens to be in the fridge. And there's nothing wrong with that once in a while. But when it starts to become a pattern, I know exactly where we're headed. So instead of waiting until we're completely off track, I'm making a change now. Not because freezer meals are the end-all-be-all. But because over the years, I've learned something about myself. If I make the healthy choice the easy choice, I'm more likely to follow through. The same goes for getting out for a walk, drinking enough water, or prepping healthy snacks in advance. For me, it's not about having more willpower. It's about making the things I want to do a little easier to accomplish. So now I'm curious... What's one thing you've been meaning to do because you know it would make your life a little easier? Maybe this is the week you stop saving it...and actually do it. ~Leslie |

Hi Reader When I was speaking with someone the other day, she looked at me and said, “I don’t get it… I’m doing everything right.” And I believed her. She was:eating wellgetting her workouts intrying to stay consistent On paper, it all looked good. But when we talked more, a different picture started to show up. Her energy was low most afternoons.Sleep wasn’t terrible… but not solid either.Cravings would hit at the end of the day.And nothing in her body felt like it was responding the way it...
Hi Reader, When I went through my health scare years ago, I learned something important. No one wakes up and chooses to be unhealthy. It happens slowly. Stress.Busy seasons.Putting yourself last. Until your body gets louder. That experience taught me that prevention is powerful. That’s why I’m so passionate about helping women understand their bodies — especially in midlife. Not to create fear.To create freedom. Always cheering you on 💜Leslie
HI Reader, For a long time, I thought eating “well” meant following rules. Don’t eat this.Limit that.Try harder tomorrow. It felt like a constant mental negotiation. What changed everything was when I stopped guessing and started learning what actually worked for my body. My meals made sense. My portions felt right. My energy stabilized. I wasn’t standing in the kitchen wondering what I “should” do anymore. I just knew. And that kind of clarity is incredibly freeing. Less guilt.Less...
